Sun Signs by: Shelly Hrdlischka

From reading this book I have learned that the main character Kaleigh is a girl that sits behind the computer all day because she doesn't go to school so this is how she does her school work. Later on in the story she has found out that she has gotten cancer, and she had to get chemo therapy. She talks a lot to her friends online until she finds out they are all liars except for one who becomes her best friend.
As the story progressed when i was reading it when she said she had cancer i thought that she would get really sick and than maybe die or her cancer would go away but, both of my thoughts were not true because when the story ended she still had cancer.
I picked this song because in the movie the girl has cancer, and than in my book the main character has cancer.
I like the song you choose to go with your book because it sounds like they go together.
ReplyDeleteThis post was very well written. Although the cancer had nothing to do with the first quotation. It must have been a very heart warming and touching story to have read. Did you enjoy reading this type of book? I also enjoy the title and theme of your Blog.
